THANK YOU FOR JOINING THE FIGHT TO KEEP OUR PLANET BEAUTIFUL AND THRIVING! SWITCHING TO A SHAMPOO BAR HELPS REDUCE UNNECESSARY WASTE. NOT TO MENTION IT’S ALL NATURAL, CHEMICAL-FREE, AND CRUELTY-FREE - AMAZING!

HOW TO USE THE ROSEMARY & PEPPERMINT SHAMPOO BAR:

1. Make sure your hair is very wet.
This sounds silly since you're in the shower, but it's important to make sure your entire head of hair is thoroughly wet. This will help the soap to lather in your hair.

2. Use your hands to create suds.
Shampoo bars are a lot more concentrated than regular shampoo. For this reason, I do NOT recommend using the bar directly on your hair - it will create too thick a layer of soap and probably won't rinse out the way you want it to.

Instead, rub the soap between your hands to create foamy suds and then use your hands to massage it into your scalp and out towards the end.

3. Add more water.
If you feel like you've added a good amount of suds and it's still not lathering in your hair like you want it to, dip your head quickly (just for a second!) back under the water. 9 out of 10 times you do not need more soap, you just need more water.

4. Cover your whole head.
It's easy to miss washing certain parts of our head, like the nape of your neck or behind the ears. Try to be thorough with applying the soap suds everywhere. Cleansing your entire head is important in fighting oil buildup and/or dry patches.

5. Rinse. Rinse again. Maybe one more time.
This is an important step! Because shampoo bars are more concentrated, you want to make sure you rinse it out completely. Take your time and thoroughly rinse your hair. Then rinse it again. Still feel like there is product in there? Rinse it one more time!

If you rush this step and don't rinse properly, you might end up with weighed down hair.

6. Follow-up with the Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioning Rinse.
This rinse will get rid of any leftover shampoo residue that may be lingering, and will also help to restore your hair's natural pH level.
This recipe is available in your copy of PURE!

Please keep in mind that if this is your first time using a shampoo bar, there might be a transitional period where your hair needs to adjust to natural ingredients. If you find your hair feeling coated, greasy, or heavy - just know it's normal and will resolve in about 2 weeks or so!
