Vegan No-Bake Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Energy Bites
These 5-ingredient Vegan No-Bake Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Energy Bites are the perfect healthy snack to have on hand! Made with ingredients you likely already have on hand like oatmeal, chocolate chips, and peanut butter. These will become a staple in your kitchen. Enjoy!
I love whipping up a batch of these No-Bake Energy Bites and eating them in the mornings for breakfast. They are also good for snacking or munching on before a workout. And yes, they really are energizing!
The ingredients used in these energy bites are already in your pantry! Oatmeal, dark chocolate chips, peanut butter… If you are missing any of the ingredients in the recipe card - feel free to replace it with something similar that you do have on hand. You can message me if you need help with this :)
To make these energy bites, grab a medium sized mixing bowl.
Simply add all the ingredients to the bowl and use a spatula or your hands to combine them. Once your ingredients are very well mixed, it’s time to form them into small little balls or “bites.”
Your bites should be about one inch in diameter. I find wetting my hands before and during this process makes it a whole lot easier! Otherwise the oatmeal mixture can get sticky and clump to your hands.
Now all you have to do is store them in a container in your fridge, and eat as you please. These will hold up for at least a week, but I can’t guarantee they will last that long, hehe.
These energy bites are very popular (for good reason). I adapted the recipe from Smashed Pea's & Carrots. And though there are all kinds of variations of the recipe out there, this one is still my favorite.
Enjoy and happy snacking!

How to cook Vegan No-Bake Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Energy Bites
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly (I mix it with my hands).
- Roll into balls (about 1-inch in diameter). It helps to have wet hands while doing this to keep the mixture from sticking to your hands!
- Keep stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to one week.
