2015 New Year's Resolutions

Happy 2015! I am so, so excited for this upcoming year. I have plans and goals galore and I'm excited to make them happen! I've never been very big on new year's resolutions, but this year I'd like to give it a go. And rumor has it that the more public you make your goals, the more likely you are to achieve them. So here I go… (& maybe they will inspire you, too.)

1. Keep a Journal. I've been meaning to start a personal journal for which I can write and reflect on my daily thoughts. Journaling is known to relieve stress and harness creativity. Besides, I like the idea of writing my own story.

2. Volunteer. Our personal happiness increases when we help others. This year I will find an organization that is important to me and dedicate my time and efforts to it as much as possible.

3. Stay in Touch. In such a fast paced world, it can be tough to stay as connected as we'd like. But it's important to remember who and what matters most. A health.com article insists that a lack of social bonds can actually be as devastating to your health as booze and smoking. So I will be making a bigger effort to schedule more Skype dates and FaceTime's with those far away and more hang-sesh's with those near me.

"May the new year bring you an abundance of amazing opportunities, beautiful moments, and joyful experiences. May your positive actions and attitude inspire others. May you be brave enough to take on and overcome rewarding challenges. May you find yourself in high spirits and excellent health. May you love with all your heart and find peace in even the most turbulent of times. May the love you give always find it's way back to you multiplied. And may you forever be filled with the hope and strength necessary to make your dreams a reality."
