You will love this Cheezy Lemon and Garlic Broccoli Linguini because its SO. DARN. EASY. But also because the ingredients are simple and its super yummy.
You will start by getting a pot of water boiling. While you wait for that, go ahead and start chopping your veggies and prepping the remaining ingredients.
Once the water is boiling, you’ll steam the broccolini and get your pasta cooking!
Now that your pasta is cooking, get the sauce working!
You will add your olive oil and garlic first. By the way, sautéed garlic is the best smell ever!! Then you’ll add your white wine, lemon zest, and reserved pasta cooking water (don’t skip this step).
And then of course you will add in your noodles, steamed broccolini, and nutritional yeast! The yeast is whats going to give you that cheesy taste FYI.
All that’s left to do is season your pasta with salt, pepper, and chili flakes and garnish it with fresh parsley.

Cheezy Lemon and Garlic Broccoli Linguini
ingredients:
- 8 ounces dry linguini pasta (half of a standard 16 ounce package)
- 1 cup broccolini (heads only), cut into smaller florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1/4 cup reserved cooked pasta water
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- chili flakes, amount as desired
- salt and pepper, to taste

How to cook Cheezy Lemon and Garlic Broccoli Linguini
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt to the water if desired. Steam the broccolini for 2-4 minutes until tender. Set aside.
- Add the linguini to the pot of boiling water and cook according to directions.
- While the pasta cooks, add olive to a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and heat for about 2 minutes, or until the garlic has become fragrant.
- Next, add the white wine and lemon zest to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for another 2-3 minutes. Stir in the reserved pasta water. Reduce heat to low.
- Once cooked, drain the pasta and add it to the skillet. Toss is the broccolini, nutritional yeast, parsley, chili flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Be sure to toss well. Enjoy!
